Counseling Support
Sometimes "counseling" feels like that scary 10-letter word that seems too far out of reach. Public safety personnel sometimes struggle with the idea of placing trust in others to help them overcome traumas and stressors, leaving many to prefer bottling it up, or burying it deep inside the back of their mind. We are often indoctrinated with this idea that we need to force ourselves through things, and that feelings make us weak, but that cannot be further from the truth. The ways of prior generations in public safety have evolved, and mental health is just as important as physical health. Below are vetted, proven, trauma-focused, and highly reviewed counselors who have extensive experience working with first responders, and their families.
